Grantel Engenharia concluded in 2020 the extensions of the Sinop and Claudia Substations – EPC 500kV, for the client Matrinchã Transmissora de Energia. The works began in November 2018 and were delivered in September 2020, meeting the deadline as planned, even under the effects of the pandemic that marked the year.

This expansion increases the supply of energy to the north of Mato Grosso and south of Pará, which are developing regions. The service provided was construction work, including electrical studies, designs, engineering, supply of materials and equipment, assembly, installation, and commissioning, as well as the guarantee of all necessary labor.

There were over 600 direct and indirect jobs, besides the supply, construction and assembly of 193 tons of metallic structures, 153,800 meters of cables, 7 reactors, 4 power transformers, 30 cut-off switches, 11 circuit breakers, 30 CTs and 20 CPTs, among others.

This was another work concluded with excellence.
